Cancellation policy

Unlike a lot of music schools, we don’t make students commit to a terms worth of lessons, but instead prefer to be more flexible. Our only concession is that if a lesson is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, it must be paid for in full. This is for any reason including sickness.

If you have booked a regular lesson slot, that is now reserved in our diary for you every week or fortnight with no end date, and will continue through all school holidays.

If you can’t make a lesson for any reason, or would like to change day/time, you need to let us know via email to admin@twsom.com with as much notice as possible. Please email admin@twsom.com instead of contacting teachers directly.

There is no problem in doing this, and as long as we have more than 48 hours notice, there will be no charge.

If you can’t commit to a regular weekly or fortnightly lesson slot, there is no problem booking lessons as you go by emailing admin@twsom.com.

If you like to pay for each lesson as you have it, you can pay at the start or end of each lesson with our card machines at the school.

If you prefer to pay for lessons in blocks, you can make a saving by paying in advance for 10 lessons. Prices below:
10 x 30 minute lessons = £240
10 x 60 minute lessons = £420

Discount is available to students/parents that wish to pay for a block of 10 lessons in advance
Lessons can be 30 or 60 minutes long
Lessons can be split between different instruments as long as lesson duration is the same
Lessons can be shared between family members or friends as long as the lesson duration is the same

Invoices must be paid on or before the first lesson of 10
New invoices will be issued around the time of the last lesson of 10 (unless told otherwise)
Invoices can be paid online using a card or by BACS bank transfer, or at the school with debit card
If an invoice is not paid by the 4th lesson of 10, the discount will be forfeited and a new invoice will be issued for the full amount of 10 lessons
If invoices are repeatedly paid late, the pre-pay scheme will be stopped
Late cancellations will be dealt with in the same way as with any payment method. Any lesson cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be forfeited
Copies of our records are available upon request
Regular lesson days/times can be changed subject to availability
Pre-payment is non-refundable after lessons have started
Lessons are valid for 1 year
Students/parents are responsible for notifying us of any change of contact information

In the event of a teacher being absent, we will endeavour to cover the lesson with a different teacher. If no-one is available to cover, we aim to give you as much notice as possible.

Gift vouchers are not specific to one instrument and can be redeemed against any lesson.
All gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from issue

On starting lessons here with us, we will request full up to date contact details, which we will keep on file. If you move or change phone number/email address etc, please let us know so that we can update our files. Your details are not shared or used for any other purpose.
